Terms of Service

These terms cover direct bookings for stays at Driftwood Cove Rentals, a private villa in Carmel, California. Sending a reservation request means you accept them.

Booking

• A reservation is confirmed only once we accept it by email and any requested deposit is received.
• Check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out is until 11:00 AM, unless we agree otherwise in advance.
• The villa sleeps up to 8 guests across 4 suites. Please tell us your exact party size when booking.

Cancellation basics

• Cancel more than 30 days before arrival for a full refund of any deposit.
• Cancel 14 to 30 days before arrival and we retain 50% of the deposit; within 14 days the deposit is non-refundable.
• If we must cancel for safety or maintenance reasons, you receive a full refund or a new date of your choice.

House rules

• No smoking inside the villa, no unregistered overnight guests, and no events without prior written agreement.
• Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM out of respect for our neighbours.
• Pets are welcome only by prior arrangement. Guests are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear.
